Fall in Love with Sage

It’s technically fall, however, we’re seeing bipolar temperatures throughout the day. It’s time to pile on the layers so as the temperature rises throughout the day, you can shed your duds while still looking fabulous. Our favorite celebs show us to layer up in this season’s hottest trends.

Keep the layers basic and add a punch of color or design to pull everything together. We love the vibrant reds and animal prints this fall!

Trend Alert:Leg Warmers

They’re back! It was inevitable…in the fashion evolution, leg warmers were bound to make a comeback sooner or later, and we are loving the updated trend. Knit leg warmers tucked into boots or worn over tights as a layering piece are great ways to make this flashback trend look new and fabulous.

Stomp Out Breast Cancer

First and foremost, we would like to thank everyone who participated and supported our “Fashion with Passion” event that was held on September 30, 2010. This event helps support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization and kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness month at Sage. Attendees were able to enjoy a fall fashion show completed with the unveiling of this year’s breast cancer awareness tee.

Our guests enjoyed a live DJ, food from Shula’s 347 Grill, and martinis from VanGogh, as well as “paparazzi” from Atlanta and Jezebel Magazines, while they shopped and helped us at Sage give a percentage of our sales to the Susan G. Komen.

Breast Cancer Tees and locally made rings from Genie Soul are available throughout the month of October. 100%of the Breast Cancer Tee and 10% of the Genie Soul rings will go to the Atlanta Chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Comfy Glamour

Talk about an oxymoron! Sounds a little crazy to us too, and trying to grasp our minds around comfort-wear being fashionable and fabulous was a little hard at first; but, after receiving our latest shipment from Knitted Dove and getting an extra nod from the fashion magazines (who note the trend, as well!), we are a firm believer that the odd pair work wonders together.

Now, we aren’t saying to step out to an event in full on running gear… instead we’re loving the idea of comfort inspired pieces mixed with a little glamour and this seasons trends.
