2012 Oscar Best & Worst Dressed

Awards season has sadly come and gone. We are left admiring, questioning, and even choosing to forget these stars Oscar red carpet looks.

Here are our top 4 beauties of the night:

Michelle Williams looked like a porcelain doll in a bright coral Louis Vuitton gown! She also carried a Bottega Venetta bubble gum pink clutch and wore Fred Leighton jewels.

Viola Davis was a complete show stopper in this beautiful strapless, green Vera Wang gown. The color looked amazing against her copper skin and her short natural hair.

Angelina Jolie turned heads all night with this striking black velvet dress by Atelier Versace! Between the sculpted waist and the thigh high split (which caused a media stir with all that leg), all eyes were on Angelina. She completed the look with Salvatore Ferragamo peep toe shoes and Neil Lane jewelry.

Cameron Diaz looked elegant and airy in this cream colored Gucci gown with embellished skirt. Her makeup was soft with a cute pink lip. She also wore Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and Tiffany & Co. jewels worth almost $1 million dollars!

And now, here are the top 3 ladies that missed the mark on Oscar's night:

Anne-Sophie Bion was supposedly donning an eco-friendly look-um, looked more like a trash bag. This dress was a hot mess!

Melissa Leo's black and gold ill-fitting dress looked horrible on the red carpet. Between the belt, and tousled hair, her look just did not come together!

This Diane von Furstenberg black sequin dress did absolutely nothing for Anna Faris. She is young with an amazing figure...she could have done so much better.

Since we had more than 4 favorites, here are our runners up:

The always glamorous Jennifer Lopez, did not disappoint in this skin baring Zuhair Murad dress. The Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Salvatore Ferragamo clutch complimented the look perfectly.

This Todashi Shoji gown looked amazing on Octavia Spencer. This dress accentuated her waist, giving her a beautiful hour glass silhouette.

Emma Stone looked beautiful in this hot pink Giambattista Valli dress with Louis Vuitton clutch and jewels.

Hope you enjoyed our hits and misses from the Oscars. Who were your favorites?

White Denim

It's time to break out the white denim as warmer season's are approaching! White denim is such a HOT trend for spring and summer, we had to bring in a couple new styles to fit your fashionista wants and needs.

We are absolutely in LOVE with these denim trousers from Maker's of True Original! They hit slightly lower on the hips and are fitted through the thigh with a flare leg.

MOTO white flare jeans, $85

This flare from !iT is fabulous on! The waist is slightly higher giving a flattering fit and we love the super flared leg. The denim is nice and thick, yet comfortable, so you can be assured they won't be see-through.

We recently got in 2 new styles of white denim from Miss Me, a cuffed capri and bootcut styles. We have been waiting on both of these styles and they are already flying out of the door, I'm sure it's easy to see why! Miss Me's are a continuously great fitting jean, you have to try them if you haven't already!

Miss Me Bootcut in White, $99

Last, but certainly not least, the Janice jegging from Level 99 just arrived! They have a sexy and fitted style and will easily become your favorite go to denim for the spring and summer because they are so light weight and easy to wear. These jeggings are also available in lipstick pink, which are almost gone so be sure to check them out, too!

Best and Worst Dressed from the Grammy's

The Grammy's have come and gone and we are left admiring (and in some cases questioning) the amazing wardrobe choices. It was a tough decision, but we have picked our top 3 best and worst dressed from this year's Grammy awards.

Rihanna was by far our #1 best dressed. She looked AMAZING in this custom Armani gown that she helped design. To top it off, her accessories were very rock and roll sexy so she didn't need a lot of makeup.

Taylor Swift glowed in this stunning Zuhair Murad cut out gown. The dress spoke for itself, so no jewelry and little makeup was needed.

Katy Perry was our #3 best dressed in this pale blue Ellie Saab dress. Despite the blue bouffant, Perry was breathtaking.

And now our 3 picks for worst dressed:

Fergie took a chance in the wrong way. This Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown was a complete miss on the runway. Between the odd orange color and the oversized lace, which played peek a boo to a black bra and granny panty set, all added to this out of control look.

Nikki Minaj is known for turning heads. She immediately turned heads, and not in a good way, in this Versace cape. The cape was huge with black beads trimming it, blood red satin gloves, and a platinum blonde wig. Well, at least her makeup was flawless as usual!

Lady Gaga stepped out in a complete fashion mishap! She wore a disasterous look, complete with fishnets from head to toe, a plastic corset, and a golden-orbed scepter.

Although there were a few mishaps on this years red carpet, there was quite a lot of success too! We couldn't just stop at our top 3 best dressed, so here are our runner up's:

Kelly Rowland looked fierce in Alberta Ferretti!

Paris Hilton looked extra innocent in her Basil Soda gown!

Gwyneth Paltrow rocked a dress by her BFF, Stella McCartney!

Last but not certainly not least, Alicia Keys looked stunning in this Alexandre Vauthier LBD with Christian Louboutin shoes!

Hope you liked our choices! What are your best and worst picks of the evening??

3 Ways to Wear a Scarf

We have in tons of amazing and colorful scarfs right now! Let us show you our favorite ways to wear them:

The basic, "drape and go." This one is easy! Just drape over your shoulders and tie knots at the ends of the scarf.

The big chunky. The chunky scarf look is super trendy right now... the bigger the better!

Infinity scarfs are also a big trend right now. Turn any scarf into an infinity by just simply tying the two ends of the scarf together and loop around 2 or 3 times depending how large the scarf.

Here is a bonus fun style: tie the scarf in a bow for a fun, feminine look. The possibilites are endless. :)
